75 Years in Prison For Videotaping Police

The public deserves the right to be able to defend itself against improper police action 100000x more than a person doing their job in public deserves personal privacy during that job, especially when they hold power and authority over people. With power comes responsibility, with police power comes responsibility to which they are often not held accountable even when they are video taped. Any sane rational non-corrupt government would encourage its private citizens to record it's officers.
Im glad that sentencing Alison was declared unconstitutional! Im sickened that the police are saying that the law should be used against people recording them to protect them from 'being caught' wrong doing but yet you can turn on the tv and watch a show called COPS where everyone is recorded doing wrong....I think that if you do it in public...you should be considered consenting to be recorded.
