The Coming Insurrection

The World is now literally on fire.

As I watch the loss of control and mob riots in yet another country, I know that far too many American's are oblivious to our Coming Insurrection. This saddens me, as I believe a normalcy bias is blinding some of my very own friends and family. They cannot conceive of American riots, cities burning to the ground, fiat worth nothing, masses experiencing hunger, and otherwise doing without as our energy prices 'necessarily skyrocket'. It can't happen here... right?

I wonder what signs they are waiting for. Would they have even recognized our country today a mere three years ago? Would they have recognized our World? The U.S. in wars with 5 countries? Was there no alarm when the current president surrounded himself in the White House with self-admitted communists and violent anarchists? Why aren't they concerned our debt has accrued to an amount even their great, great grandchildren will never be able to pay off?

Cass Sunstein has assembled a brilliant framework for Marxism; it can clearly be seen around the edges already. Nudge. Then push. Is it okay for government to control what food you eat because it's easier to let it slide than to act? I wonder why so many American's hold their Constitutional rights in such low regard. Is it because we’ve never been required to fight thus they are taken for granted? Don't they know that historically, when freedom is lost, it has never been seen again in the lifetime of those living?

Have they noticed the unrest in our nation? Have they seen our race relations? The beatings administered by blacks on whites in Milwaukee? Philadelphia? What a heinous disregard our Commander in Chief holds us in to allow this to continue and worsen. We are all better than that; we all deserve better from our leaders. It is unacceptable that they sit back and watch, even encourage, our destruction.

I wonder if they have seen the war on God in our communities. Do they believe they will not have to answer for their silence? Why would they expect Him to stand for them if they won’t stand for Him? Will they study the book of Deuteronomy, knowing it’s the key?

It was so easy for our government to take over the media, controlling information. Yet many American's won't seek the truth in places that frankly, will eventually be censored. It's easier to sit back and be mollified than it is to search for a truth that may be frightening. Will they not prepare or otherwise act until the Internet is censored, their favorite sites gone?

And finally, I wonder if they will see the hardest thing of all, in time? Our leader is not stupid. Nor naïve. Nor confused. He is, in fact, an anticolonialist. As he so eloquently put it, "We need to eliminate power structures that have been built through excessive accumulation so that not only a few individuals shall control a vast magnitude of resources as is the case now."

I can only pray they soon come to the reality of where we are and where we are going, no matter how painful that may be. Those that aren't prepared will suffer mightily and that, my friends, will be heartbreaking.

Comment by Deb Callahan on August 9, 2011 at 10:15pm: my family is extremely liberal, all govt workers, some marxists. they are not prepared because they love what is happening. it's a huge reset button, they one they've waited for since their indoctrination at Carolina. they really believe govt is the answer to everything, that man is too stupid to sit up straight without a social worker outfitting us with straight jackets, in short, elitist snobs. how well i could see all this coming. i've heard about it for years. their misguided delusions are coming true, nudging us right along.

How about the destructive union tactics in Wisconsin and New Jersey? Increased crime rate under Obama? We don't really need to look to other countries for signs that it might happen here. It is happening here right under our noses! Just look at who is running the federal government these days. . .

Now, we have the Protest on Wall St. I too am saddened by my family & friends who choose to think that there is nothing going on here. They flock to the sales at major department stores, watch reality TV & think soap operas are real life situations. I was watching "V for Vendetta" this past weekend & what a parallel to what is going on in the world, is this where we are headed. Although the government has taken much of God out of our country, I have noted that most of the GOP profess to be Christians, is this a tactic to try & draw the Christian voters? When I talk about the loss of our Constitutional rights, I have been treated like I am talking treason. I want a country where I can pray, drink raw milk, not be groped or humiliated & live as a free person should live, without the interference or fear of government.

Comment by Debbie Myers on September 30, 2011 at 3:10pm: Over 300 activists gathered at the gazebo on Boston Common Tuesday night for a consensus-based planning meeting for an Occupy Wall Street style demonstration in Boston that will take place later this week. So Wall St is going to go into their 3rd week, and now the same in Boston. It's happening here, but people still have their head in the sand. Amazing, I sometimes feel like I am the smartest person in my circles or just plain crazy.

Did you see Cornel West (the sorriest excuse for a Princeton professor ever) leading the 'useful idiots' in a chant on Wall Street this week? The zombies were repeating everything he said right back to him, as instructed. When he was done, he said thank you all for coming... and they repeated back 'thanks so much for coming'. It was HILARIOUS! We about died laughing!

I have heard that many people want to End the Fed. I don't know where things are leading and am feeling so unclear about the future. Do we even have time before the election & what if another "same ole'" gets elected anyway? I support my candidate not because he will change things in his term, but I am sure that further growth of the government will come to a halt, our troops will return home & we can look to our Constitution for guidance. But again, do we have time to wait? Then with so many people, looking away, feeling comfortable with the government taking care of them or looking at "the drama factor". The media does not even appropriate equal time to the candidates during the debates. But that's entertainment.

Comment by Deb Sefton on October 1, 2011 at 11:12pm: Bloomberg is such an idiot. First, he predicts riots if 'the economy doesn't create jobs', then asks for 'Washington to create jobs'. I hate to tell him, but 'the economy' doesn't generate jobs. Neither does Washington. The only job of the Federal government is to protect our Constitutional rights. Period. They have no business doing what they have been doing in trying to influence what we eat, redistributing wealth, not shutting down our coal plants, not spending tax money like a drunken sailor, not stirring up class warfare, race warfare, etc.

Obama came to office with a preconceived notion that America is an oppressor. She has pillaged every thing we've got. America must pay for what he believes she did, and his agenda will bring us down to the level of a third world country. He has obviously encouraged race wars, class wars and desperation via lost jobs, lost homes, loss of the American dream. What is happening and will happen in this country is a grand plan of a large group in this Oligarchy. George Soros, Cass Sunstein, Valerie Jarrett, Van Jones, Timothy Geithner, Eric Holder, Samantha Power, Janet Napolitano, etc. What will happen next, is continued encouragement for anarchy in the streets until we will beg the government to protect us with martial law.

Governor Bev Perdue's recent speech floated the idea of 'suspending elections'. This is the most frightening snatch of liberty of all. He's already put enough petty laws into effect that at any given time, we all will be in violation of some law. That is how we will never feel safe in our own homes again, because you can be picked up at any time. And if elections are suspended, we will never escape the Communism that will follow.

Once they suspend elections, this country as we know it is over.
