It has been suggested that the TEA Party would agree to a cut in military spending.

I would not agree with that. The Constitution mandates that the Federal government “Provide for the Common Defense”. With a proliferation of numerous social programs instilled and which eat up considerably more of the national spending pie associated with the Federal Budget; it is incumbent that the social spending be cut prior to defense spending.
