Taking Back America!

Amazing as it seems most Americans, aren't paying attention to the failures of the current administration. To political junkies that do monitor every aspect of each little detail from both sides, are dumbfounded. The following are some failures that average people know about but don't equate it with the elections. Before a reader says my sources are all right wing sites. Many of the facts come directly from Government sources: The White House, OMB. And news sources who usually favor the President's Administration. Having clarified the sources for this article, let's look at the Cold Hard Facts!
On The economy:
Longest length of unemployment in U.S. History. 40+ months above 8%. People are looking at right now and the way it is explains is not in terms that relate. The people would take this more serious where it explained: Unemployment has been above 8% for over 3 years and 5 months and experts expect it to go even higher in 2013.
Obama expects unemployment to remain high until 2020 http://currentbusiness.co.uk/economic-news/obama-expects-unemployment-to-remain-high-until-2020/
“we envisage an average growth of 95,000 positions per month”, declared Christina Romer, chief of the Council of the Economic adviser to the US president Barack Obama.
Those numbers don't even keep pace with the number of people entering the work force.
The Administration has claimed they saved or created 4.6 million jobs. But the facts are not being told.
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2010/01/farewell-saved-or-created-obama-administration-changes-the-counting-of-stimulus-jobs/ “ The Obama administration has taken some heat and mockery for using the nebulous and non-economic term of jobs being “saved or created” by the $787 billion stimulus program. So it’s gotten rid of it.”
In a little-noticed December 18, 2009 memo from Office of Management and Budget director Peter Orszag the Obama administration is changing the way stimulus jobs are counted.
Okay so how are they counting the “jobs created or saved,” and what is the new way to explain the jobs?
“Instead, recipients will more easily and objectively report on jobs funded with Recovery Act dollars,” Orszag wrote.
In other words, if the project is being funded with stimulus dollars – even if the person worked at that company or organization before and will work the same place after wards – that’s a stimulus job.
To simplify this if you started working for the company say in 1990 and the company received stimulus money, Obama created your job. We now know why he says “You didn't build that.”
So they haven't created 4.6 million jobs, not even close. We have lost jobs. Here is proof: Source: http://money.cnn.com/2009/02/06/news/economy/jobs_january/index.htm
“The latest job loss is the worst since December 1974, and brings job losses to 1.8 million in just the last three months, or half of the 3.6 million jobs that have been lost since the beginning of 2008.
The loss since November is the biggest 3-month drop since immediately after the end of World War II, when the defense industry was shutting down for conversion to civilian production. The rise in the unemployment rate also was worse than the 7.5% rate economists expected. The unemployment rate is now at its highest level since September, 1992.
As bad as the unemployment rate was, it only tells part of the story for people struggling to find jobs. Friday's report also showed that 2.6 million people have now been out of work for more than six months, the most long-term unemployed since 1983”
So what has been the results for families?
"facts that are
uncomfortable."
Minorities were disproportionately hurt by the economy. Blacks are hit harder by unemployment than non-Hispanic whites and Latinos and are also a larger share of SNAP recipients. While a plurality of SNAP, (Food Stamps) households were headed by white non-Hispanics, according to the USDA, 32 percent were headed by African-Americans—a large share, considering that blacks make up roughly 13 percent of the U.S. population.
Nearly one in six Americans live in poverty, the Census Bureau reported Tuesday, a development that is ensnaring growing numbers of children and offering vivid proof of the devastating impact.
The report portrays a nation where many people are slipping backward in the wake, 14 million people out of work that pushed unemployment rates to levels not seen in decades.
As poverty surged last year to its highest level since 1993, median household income declined, more then $4,000, leaving the typical American household earning less than it did in 1997.
There goes the “Bush caused this” idea. Under the current administration instead of things improving, we have been going full speed in reverse.
But what about the Foreign Policies? Source: http://www.washingtonpost.com/
The political writers tell us that President Obama’s foreign affairs record will be one of his strengths with voters in the 2012 campaign. The logic is pretty simple; Obama himself summed it up in 11 words at the Pentagon last week: “We’ve ended our war in Iraq. We’ve decimated al-Qaeda’s leadership.”
Really? Let's look at the facts.
First is the Administration on Israel and Palestine “busted Israeli-Palestinian peace process. Obama arrived in office afire with the ambition to create a Palestinian state within two years. But his diplomacy was based on a twofold misunderstanding: that the key to successful negotiations was forcing Israel to stop all settlement construction — and that the United States had the leverage to make that happen.”
Then he rejected an opportunity to meet with Benjamin "BiBI" Netanyahu to do Campaigning and appearing on TV shows. His rejection could cause BiBi and Israel to decide to take action against Iran on their own.
Second is Al Qeada decimated? Source: http://www.time.com/
“Three weeks after the calamitous attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, a former Libyan intelligence chief tells TIME that he is convinced that the assault was a premeditated operation carried out by al-Qaeda’s North African wing — an organization that until now was believed to have a stronger presence elsewhere in the region. “It is not what I think. It is what I know,”
The attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, was directly tied to Al Qaeda -- with a former Guantanamo detainee involved.
That revelation comes on the same day a top Obama administration official called last week's deadly assault a "terrorist attack" -- the first time the attack has been described that way by the administration after claims it had been a "spontaneous" act.
But They aren't here in America are they? Source: http://www.debka.com/
Just five weeks before America’s presidential election, US intelligence reports signs that al Qaeda leader Ayman Zuwahiri is preparing a string of terrorist attacks as the sequel to the murders of US ambassador Chris Stevens and three other US officials in Benghazi on Sept. 11, according to evidence collected across Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
His twin goals are to influence the poll’s results and to build up his reputation as a master of spectacular terrorist operations. Eager to impress Al Qaeda’s franchise chiefs, Zuwahiri is reported to be celebrating his “Benghazi feat” – his first as Al Qaeda leader - and boasting of the harm to the Obama campaign caused by his administration’s stammering denials that it was an act of terror. The new terrorist chief claims his tactics had an instant, devastating impact on Washington and they were therefore superior to those of his predecessor, Osama bin Laden.
The Al Qaeda leader is now seen - not only by US intelligence experts, but by most experts in the West, the Middle East and Israel - to be impatient to capitalize on this success and so dramatically expose to the Muslim world America’s perceived weakness and his own worth as commander of the jihadist movement.
Al Qaeda planning also took advantage of the US counter terrorism focus in the last couple of years on the Arabian Peninsula franchise (AQAP) based in Yemen. Less US attention was devoted to the Islamist extremism simmering in North African and other Middle East arenas. It was there that Zuwahiri went to work to fashion new terrorist networks alongside Al Qaeda in the Maghreb (AQIM) from the Salafi groups now rampant across a broad geographical area encompassing Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Mali and thrusting into the Middle East through Egyptian Sinai. America is therefore confronted with a broad new al Qaeda front, armed with scanty intelligence. Worst of all, Washington can’t trust the new regimes and local military and intelligence organizations, thrown into power in the post-“Arab revolt” countries, for cooperation in fighting terror. Instead of confrontation, the Obama administration has opted for retreat.
So much for a foreign policy!
Two years ago, the White House crowed that two-thirds of Al-Qaeda’s leadership had been eliminated. But the attempts to reorganize are obvious, and the new camps are an indication that the efforts have been successful. According to Time magazine, each of the camps has the capacity to train jihadists. Latest estimates show there could be 18,000 or more members, with most going unnoticed.
Al Qaeda's finances are intact. Al Qaeda is exporting extremism on a global scale with "middle managers" providing planning, logistical advice, material and financing to smaller groups including groups based in the U.S.
New recruitment is accelerating due to Benghazi success. Individuals becoming part of Al Qaeda are sympathizers of the radical Muslim beliefs. "It has reconstituted most if not all of its pre-9/11 operational capabilities through exploitation of Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Areas, replacement of captured or killed operational lieutenants, and the restoration of some central control by its top leadership, in particular Ayman al-Zawahiri,"
Of course I could have written about the administration giving away authority to the United Nations, The hidden 21 taxes in the Affordable Care Act, violations of the Constitution, Fast and Furious scandal, other scandals. There were a lot more failures or debacle I could have covered. But that would have taken me writting a book or two. The point is the American people for the most part don't realize the magnitude of the failures of the current President's Administration. If you would comment or make a suggestion it would help me improve. Submit to budj1950@yahoo.com
