Taking Back America!
So, here we are TEA Party. This is it. We have our presumptive candidate, Mitt Romney, for Republican Presidential nominee. Yes, I understand Newt hasn’t endorsed him officially, but knowing he is an honorable man, he will. Yes, I understand Dr. Paul is still out there lurking in the weeds of hope, but we all know he is simply paving the way for his son Rand’s future political career. Santorum has endorsed Romney. The primary is in essence over, and now our real job begins.
So, do we just go through the motions and trudge along and hope things work out? Look, we all know the enthusiasm has waned from our epic rise in 2009-2010. This was expected. Upon reflection we shook the foundation of the strongest government in history. We influenced both establishment political powers and made a difference. We awoke a comatose nation and made politics front page news again. As much as we want to deny it we, as a nation, have been derelict in our Duty, in our Right, to make a difference for decades. We changed that. We changed that in an incredible way. We created confusion in a good way.
Yes, we expended a tremendous amount of energy. I believe this was because many of us realized how negligent we have been. It’s OK, we were all busy with our lives, families, jobs and the American Dream. Unfortunately we realized how precious the Dream is a little too late. Because of our neglect the American Dream has been delayed for many of our fellow Americans, both Conservative and Liberal, and it’s up to us to reinvigorate it. We all know what that will take. Like it or not it has to happen. The stakes are too high for failure. Success is our only option.
The TEA Party must become the movement that brought us the House of Representatives. Regardless of the ineffectiveness of the House under Boehner’s pathetic leadership, can you imagine what our Blamer-in-Chief would have done with majorities in both Houses for the last 2 years? We all know our effort prevented further massive damage to our Republic and Constitution. For this we need to be very proud. We all realized that controlling 1/2 of 1/3 of our government wasn’t going to bring about significant change but we did prevent further significant damage by the European Socialist and his minions.
This is no longer a matter of holding our noses and voting for Romney or not. It is imperative we get Barrack Obama out of the White House. The man is an embarrassment to what America was and must once again become. It’s time to get over ourselves and understand our choice will not be the candidate but we must still continue our mission. Nobody in their right mind thought the damage caused by nearly 100 years of Progressivism was going to be eliminated by a single mid-term election. If you did you don’t understand politics and what it takes to create real change. Our mission has only begun. The first shot across the bow of both established parties has been sent. The first battle has been won, however the war is far from over. We have many more battles to win before that happens. But we all know it must happen.
As many of us have said, our goal this time is to strengthen the House majority, retake the Senate and remove the imposter from our White House. We must support and get Romney in the White House. I know many of you will balk, if so, give me a better solution. There is none. Get over it. We don’t have the time, funding or luxury to make any significant change now. The hands have been dealt, it’s time to bet big or fold. I don’t think the TEA Party should ever fold. Not when we’ve already won once. This will not be the final win even if it does happen. To achieve what we know is best for our nation will literally take decades. If you aren’t ready to accept that you might as well go back to hoping the establishment parties fix things themselves. Good luck with that delusion.
Our goal, as it has been from the beginning, is to get as many true Conservatives into office, now and in the future, as possible. One step at a time and we will eventually reach our goal of a government that embraces our Core values and the social, moral, cultural and spiritual principles that made our nation great.
So, what’s it gonna be TEA Party? Are we gonna sit around and piss and moan about what shoulda, coulda, woulda happened? Or are we going to make a difference again and unseat an incumbent President that we all know is the worst thing to happen to our country in a long time? The pity party is over my fellow Americans, it’s time to put up or shut up. You don’t have to love Romney, but you must love our great country. This is what it’s all about.
So, let’s do it.
I am going to fully support Romney even though he was not my choice and I wanted a real conservative. But we must do everything to make sure Obama is out.
I too am going to do all I can to get Romney elected and get rid of that imposter in the WH. I'm working to change things in my local county and district, but sometimes it's pretty frustrating. Our tea party is doing all it can to educate our members on conservative principles. We have studied The 5,000 Year Leap, and are getting to start The Original Argument (Federalists Papers). Next week we're having a speaker on the Free Market Economy. Last month our program was about Agenda 21. We're leaving no stone unturned. However, I refuse to give money to the NRC as long as the best they can give us is another semi-progressive like Romney. But if continue to educate and fight within our local school district, we might make a difference in 20 years. There are no quick cures.
