Taking Back America!
In his own words, Ron Paul explains why we need to be more friendly to Iran. This is why his possible nomination as the Republican Presidential candidate frightens me so badly. It's only 5 minutes long but is very revealing.

This is what you should really be concerned with. The loss of our rights, the loss of our property rights, slavery...people better start getting this one right. Denial from the masses has pushed us over the brink & you can get back your freedom or lose it forever. I am so tired of people protesting the MEANINGLESS issues - BECAUSE if we haven't got freedom - none of it means ANYTHING. Wake Up & quit being haters. Try on the cloak of a Patriot.
Permalink Reply by Debe Lange on January 18, 2012 at 9:24pm The issue of where this nation stands concerning Israel and the Muslim nations isn't meaningless. It's the most pertinent issue of them all and the hub of the political wheel. I, too, am concerned about our rights and freedoms, including the right to bear arms, and I'm not turning a blind eye to any of them. However, if the U.S. turns it's back on Israel, all our rights and freedoms won't matter one iota because they'll disappear. This nation will be reduced to just another socialist/communist country as the rest who permeate the world. I happen to be a Christian who believes God's Word, the Bible, is just that ... God's Words. He uses people, nations, situations, and circumstances from the past to help us avoid those same things in the future.
In Genesis 12:1-3, God speaks to Abram about leading God's people to Canaan (who were Israelites/Jews) and said; "Now the Lord said to Abram, "Go forth from your country, And from your relatives And from your father's house, To the land which I will show you; And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing" And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
Throughout the Book of Judges God continuously gave the Jews/Israelites choices as to who they wanted as their leaders. When they chose godly leaders who had pure motives and wanted to do what was right in the eyes of God, they were blessed with safety, productivity, wealth, and security. When they chose someone who was evil and dishonest, they were cursed and left with desolation, poverty, fear, unspeakable atrocities, and in most cases they were put under the bondage of other nations.
In our last election, this nation chose a wicked and evil president who is not trustworthy and hell-bent on abandoning Israel, and he's doing everything in his power to destroy our Constitution, our Christian heritage, our military, and our nation. There are consequences for chosing incorrectly, and we're now experiencing the consequences of that wrong choice.
It will be devastating to the United States if we choose another leader who will not abide by God's Words and turns his back on Israel. Ron Paul is such a man. Although I agree with some of what Paul says domestically, his foreign policy concerning Israel, and the Muslim nations in that region, is extremely dangerous and will bring the promise of God's curses on this nation to fruition. I have no interest in watching any more of my family's freedoms erode or be taken away entirely simply because Ron Paul doesn't think Israel is worthy of support from this nation. This is not a scale that weighs his good ideas against the bad ones. Being Israel's truest friend and supporter is the first and foremost issue on which all other issues must be based. Anyone who seeks to be elected as President of the U.S. and stands against Israel is a fool and not worthy of my vote.
Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's prime minister has reiterated his Mossad (Israeli CIA); calling on America to allow Israel to handle their business without interference from American politicians. It's a myth that Ron Paul's foreign policy is "anti-israel", nevermind "dangerous"
Ron Paul believes that if Israel needs our help, they will ask for it. If it involves war, then Congress will vote & make a declaration of war with goals/objectives defined. I fail to see where this is "standing against Israel".
Our massive debt, financial crisis & loss of rights is going to leave Israel alone, surrounded by enemies. Ron Paul is the only man who can fix it.
Is the only reason we exist to take care of Israel? We are not able to take care of ourselves, borrowing over 40% of every dollar we spend. If you don't think that the financial & military are not closely linked, you are only fooling yourself. We are on the brink of economic disaster, just like the rest of the globe.
CHRISTIAN CONSERVATIVES HAVE LOST THEIR MORAL COMPASS!
A CHALLENGE FROM A CONSERVATIVE TO CONSERVATIVES.
Christianity is a faith that teaches charity, acceptance, forgiveness, “blessed are the peacemakers” and “do unto others as you would have others do unto you.”
I guess this is good for Sunday services but not real life. This may be good among men, but not for a country. I’m sorry. By what strain of twisted logic do you argue in favor of a “Christian nation” and then state that the words of Jesus Christ, the founder of the faith, don’t apply somehow?!?! Please stop and think about this for a second.
Christian Conservatives have been listening more to political rhetoric than the actual teachings of the founder of their faith. I watched in bewilderment (as did the world) during the recent South Carolina debate when a political candidate on stage suggested that we should “do to others as we would want them to do to us,” and the predominantly Christian Conservative crowd overwhelmingly booed him! Why is this?
FURTHERMORE… The Founding Fathers of this nation warned us against foreign wars and entanglements.
“No nation could preserve its freedoms in the midst of continual warfare.”
- James Madison (Author of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights)
“Peace, commerce and honest friendship with ALL NATIONS – entangling alliances with NONE.”
- Thomas Jefferson
If this is neither a Christian view nor a “Conservative” view…
Then why do you call yourself either Christian or Conservative?
Christians call themselves these things… then wonder in amazement when the secular world calls them hypocrites. I’m sorry. But that’s what it is. Go find a dictionary and look up the definition. This may come as a shock to many Christians… but the secular world is very familiar with the teachings of Jesus Christ. They probably heard it from you. They then sit back and see if your actions match your words.
Hypocrite (n) – 1. a person who puts on false appearance of virtue or religion. 2. a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feeling. - Merriam Webster Dictionary
“But that point of view changed with 9/11. Such a foreign policy is dangerous.”
First off… what a totally LIBERAL argument! “Times have changed so we need to go against what our Founding Fathers instructed us.” “Times have changed so we need to ignore the words of Jesus Christ taken straight out of the Bible. NO. Truth is Truth. If things changed that much due to 9/11… then the terrorist have won by destroying our way of life.
I understand defense is necessary. I am not advocating isolationism nor a lack of defense. What I am talking about is going around attacking people who have not attacked us. What I am talking about is a defense strategy and foreign policy as outlined by our own CIA and intelligence officers and not by politicians and pundits spewing political rhetoric. If Christians would quit listening to pundits who are nothing more than paid off, hack actors and listen to say… Michael Scheuer the CIA chief over the Bin Laden unit or Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer of the Center for Advanced Defense Studies. Go ahead… look them up! YouTube them and listen. EDUCATE YOURSELF. Don't just listen to pundits tell you how to feel and vote!
A foreign policy based on our intelligence officers and military commanders, one that reflects our Founding Fathers instructions and in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ… not one spewed by pundits that are bought and paid for by defense contractors.
Israel? Once again. Instead of listening to pundits… Listen to the President of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu. Listen to Tamir Pardo, Chief of the Mossad (Israeli Intelligence.) (Both on YouTube... look it up!) Both have stated that they don’t want American interference with Israel. They don’t want our money. They don’t want our military. Furthermore, they don’t feel that Iran is a threat! Once again… intelligence says no threat. No need for war. Israel wants to be left alone by the United States. Political pundits scream the exact opposite.
Christian Conservatives have a candidate who has never flip flopped on any issue. Married to the same wife for over 50 years. Who is a military veteran. Who is pro-life. Who believes in the Constitution. Who cannot be bought by special interests. Who is respected by even his opponents in Congress. Who is the only candidate who has a fully laid out plan and budget to get the Government under control without making cuts to the elderly. Someone who is in all ways EXACTLY what the Christian Conservatives have been looking for… But because he advocates a foreign policy based upon the words of Jesus Christ… a policy that reflects what our intelligence sources say is best… many Christian leaders say they would choose ANYONE ELSE!
Instead they support the candidate whose whole career has been characterized by one dominant factor, Greed. A good Christian value? One who wants to build an army so powerful that “none will challenge us.” Great. Fear. Is that another good Christian value? They support the candidate who has cheated on two of his wives and, if elected, would give us the first First Lady who is a certified home wrecker. Unfaithfulness. A Christian value? They want a candidate who would kill every Muslim… Genocide. Yeah. Is that a good Christian value, too? Let’s bomb them though they haven’t attacked us… like what happened to us on 9/11… you know. Terrorism. A good Christian value?
The spirit of fear has descended upon our nation and producing its fruit. Greed and avarice are running through our financial markets. Lying tongues, boastfulness, arrogance and pride in our politics. Jealousy, envy and racism among the population. “Christian” people cheering for murder and torture. Hatred of those who are different. Is this the nation we want? Are these the values we want? Please stop. Think. Pray and meditate. Listen carefully to the words coming from the pundits and compare it to what Jesus Himself had to say. Are they the same? And please... Educate yourself on the words of the Founding Fathers before calling yourself “Conservative.”
