Taking Back America!
1) Shocker in South Carolina! New CNN Poll Shows Mitt Romney with a Large Lead getting 37% while Santorum Second with 19%. Newt Third with 18%. Does This Mean Romney Has It Locked Up?
In another sign of the front-runner’s growing strength, Mitt Romney has taken the lead in South Carolina, according to a TIME/CNN/ORC poll released Friday.
The poll, which surveyed likely primary voters on Wednesday and Thursday, found Romney commanding 37% support, a 17-point gain since early December. He’s not the only one carrying momentum out of Iowa’s photo finish. Rick Santorum has surged 15 points to 19%, picking up the largest chunk of Newt Gingrich’s shattered coalition. The former Speaker is still in the hunt with 18%, but that’s down from 43% in December. Read The Whole Story Here!

The White House will propose a 0.5 percent pay increase for civilian federal employees as part of its 2013 budget proposal, according to two senior administration officials familiar with the plans.

3) Rubio in letter to Obama: You are turning America into a 'deadbeat nation' - by Jason Mattera
In a scathing letter sent to Barack Obama this morning, Senator Marco Rubio said that under the President’s first term in office, “more and more people have come to believe that America is becoming a deadbeat nation.” Rubio went on to pledge that he would challenge any further increase in the debt ceiling, arguing that “we [Congress] need to make it routine to actually spend no more than we take in.” In the letter obtained by HUMAN EVENTS, the Florida Senator said that President Obama’s upcoming request to increase the debt ceiling by a whopping $1.2 trillion will cause the nation’s public debt to surpass the $16 trillion mark.
“I will oppose your request to continue borrowing and spending recklessly.” Read The Whole Story Here! See Letter Below...

Permalink Reply by Jason Kilgore on January 6, 2012 at 4:41pm Marco is great. Too bad he is not running for President right now. In the past Federal workers have always gotten a small raise each year to offset the so called cost of living increase. Funny how if you are in the private sector and paying the salaries of the Federal workers you don't get a cost of living increase each year. All you usually get is a tax increase to cover the costs of increased benefits for the Federal workers. What a screwed up system we have.
Lets hope that CNN poll is not accurate. I find it hard to believe Romney can win SC but maybe the fix is in.
I am really starting to lose faith in polls. "Freedom Watch", for me, is the only constituional correct. The polls I see there are slightly different then the ones I see all over the place. I wish there was a more consistent way to make these determinations.
